Julianna's Senior Session

Julianna's session can only be described as 'a true southern classic'.

When it came time to schedule her spring senior photoshoot, she knew immediately where she wanted it, Downtown Wilmington! Luckily for her, Wilmington is one of my favorite cities to shoot at and my creative freedom runs wild. This session was no different.

We started out with cap and gown portraits because Julianna's hair doesn't hold curls for long, or so she said. We began taking pictures at the Alton Lennon Federal Building. The tan steps gave a clean, blank canvas so she really stood out in the photos. The palm trees in front added that coastal touch that tied the whole gallery together!

For our next stop, we walked up and down Ann St. for this beautiful greenery!

We started by the Little Drum Landing for the cozy cottage vibes, then crossed the street to Rooster & The Crow for the pink wall. I immediately thought of Charleston when editing the photos!

We ended outside the Rise and Shine Vacation Rental because how cute is that staircase?

Personally, this was my favorite portion of the session. When sharing my ideas to Julianna, this is exactly what I had in mind! Her beautiful self only made it better!

Last but certainly not least, Julianna wanted to show off her custom painted senior jeans! I took a few shots by the ferry on The Riverwalk and then we headed to Dram Tree Park to get a magnificent view of the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge!

Session Recap

All together this session was such a dream! The outfits, location and especially the gorgeous grad. If every session was like this, I would never get tired of it!

This is my last year hosting a senior spokesmodel group and as you may assume, Julianna is one of my girls. This means I only have one session left with her before she graduates! It is truly crazy how time flies and I'm going to miss having her in front of my lens.
